We're driving through Sweden, Norway, and Denmark in May. Any suggestions for eating or visiting in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Oslo, Copenhagen, or anyplace in between?

While I missed your trip, here are two suggestions in Stockholm, one in Uppsala, and a great family-run hotel and restaurant in Norway for other travelers to Scandinavia.

Lisa Elmqvist, a fish restaurant within the Ostermalms Saluhall. The Saluhall is a public market that any food lover should visit.

In the square opposite the Slussen Subway stop in Stockholm is Nystekt Stromming, a small stand with delicious seafood. Have the fried herring plate.

Hambergs Fisk, a fish restaurant and market in Uppsala at #8 Fyristorg.

Finally, the wonderful old family-run Walaker Hotel (and restaurant) in Solvorn on the shores of the Lustrafjorden. Take the ferry across the fjord and visit the nearly 1000 year-old stave church in Urnes. JB
