Back Issues on DVD-ROM, PLEASE!!

There was a time when some publications made ther back issues available on CD-ROM. As a person who tends to save back issues of various magazines, I am having a storage issue. It would be great if back issues of Saveur were made available on DVD-ROM. I save the issues for recipes and the interesting articles. The DVD-ROM could hold multiple years and extras, like videos.

I agree. It would be great to have the old issues in PDF format (or the like) so one could digitally flip through them and keep a back stock of the old magazines. I too have a storage issue. Usually I pass them onto friends. I would totally pay for a whole year of digitized back issues on CD or downloaded from the internet.

I would love to obtain a copy of the premiere issue (summer 1994) in PDF. I have every issue from #2 to present. Space is a big issue but I'm very reluctant to part with any of them.

Also, an Index on disc would be enormously appreciated of every recipe and/or article published. Would love to be able to search, for the print version.

You can buy electronic versions of issues from Aug/Sept 2005 to the current issue from the Zinio digital magazine service at http://www.zinio.com/browse/publications/single-issues.jsp?productId=102185225

All except the current issue and some special issues are selling for $.99/issue.

I'm also tossing my vote in for getting electronic versions of ALL back issues!

to both a dvd-rom and an index... I'd also love to see the rest of the recipes that disappeared when the site was redone a couple of years ago put back up... and given the number of requests for lost recipes, I dare say lots of people would be happy!
